Frangia Bouquet

Good morning friends!

Today I’m playing along with the March Memory Box challenge where the theme is ‘flower power’.

I pulled out one of my older dies – the Frangia Bouquet from 2013 which I coloured using blended distress inks.

I stencilled some glitter paste on my base card and adhered the die cut once the glitter was dry. The embossed sentiment is by Clearly Besotted.

Fancy Flower Garden

Hello friends!

Another item that I purchased from the new Hero Arts release was the gorgeous Flower Garden Fancy die. It is so pretty…. I love background dies and just couldn’t resist adding this one to my collection.

I coloured all the images with my Altenew watercolour paints and then added some Nuvo drops for the flower centres.

The sentiment die is by Waffle Flower Crafts.

I’m entering this into the current Flower Challenge (anything goes) and the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge (feminine/girly).

Hello flowery friend

Hello friends!

There’s a fabulous colour combo over at CAS Colours and Sketches this week and I have been looking forward to using it all week!

I created an ink blended background with a couple of Altenew inks and then cut it using one of my favourite background/frame dies – the Outline Floral Frame from Simon Says Stamp.

I cut some blackberry coloured cardstock using sentiment dies from Simon Says Stamp and Karen Burniston and added a few sequins to finish it off.

I’m also entering this into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge where the theme is ‘friends’.

Hello Spring Blossoms

Hi everyone!

There’s a feeling of spring in the air today – I can see buds appearing across the garden!

So I felt it was right to pull out my Pretty Pink Posh Cherry Blossoms stamps and dies for my take on the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I coloured the flowers with Twinkly H2Os and Prismacolour pencils and arranged them on a rectangle of Basic Grey paper.

The sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp.

Flower Garden

Hello everyone!

I finally had time to sit down and play with my new Hero Arts purchases today!

I love the new Flower Garden Bold Prints background and couldn’t wait to ink it up!

I heat embossed the image and  then coloured it using the palette from this week’s Color Throwdown challenge (grey, purple, lavender and kraft) – and added a die from a my Monthly Hero kit to finish it off. As I used my Twinkling H2Os, this is beautifully sparkly in real life – so difficult to capture in a photo though!

Stencilled birthday roses

Hello everyone!

I’m back with another challenge entry – this time for the current sketch challenge over at CAS Colours & Sketches.

In addition to my dies, I have also been neglecting my stencils due to my wood stamp challenge so as soon as I saw the sketch, I knew it would be perfect for stencilling! I used a Time Holtz stencil plus regular distress inks with a detail blending tool.

The die cut sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

I’m also entering this into the current Just Us Girls challenge where the theme is ‘birthday’.

Thanks for stopping by!
