Christmas in July Day 14 and the final Day of the 30 day colouring challenge!
For today’s card, I used one of my favourite festive stamps – the wonderful Stampendous Kitty Claws. I LOVE this stamp so much! My mum bought it first, over a decade or so ago, but I kept borrowing it, so I was very happy to pick one up for myself about five years ago! The sentiment is by Sugar Pea Designs.

Christmas in July Day 13 (Day 29 of the colouring challenge)!
For today’s card, I used the sweet Hero Arts Holiday Giraffe stamp from 2007 which I fussy cut and adhered to a base of blended Tumbled Glass/Stormy Sky distress ink. The sentiment is by Winnie & Walter.

Christmas in July Day 12 (Day 28 of the colouring challenge)!
Today’s card uses the sketch for the current Try Stampin’ on Tuesday challenge and another stamp by Magenta.
I played around with different ways of recreating that central strip – patterned paper, dry embossing, coloured card! In the end, I pulled our a Studio Katia stencil and applied a layer of distress ink and then glitter paste. I really wanted to ensure that the strip didn’t dominate the main image, so I’m pleased with how it turned out!

Christmas in July Day 11 (Day 27 of the colouring challenge)!
Today’s card uses the sketch for the current CAS Colours & Sketches challenge. The stamp is by Magenta and I used an older Ellen Hutson embossing plate to create the strips. After much dithering, I used an older Nestabilities die to cut the main image – it’s fun to use the seldom-used nesting dies again!
I’m also entering this into the current Inkspirational Challenge – 3 or 5 of something.

Christmas in July Day 10 (Day 26 of the colouring challenge)! I have to confess that I’m kind of looking forward to taking a break from colouring once the 30 day challenge ends! I think I may just participate every other day next time. I miss using my dies and my stamps that don’t need to be coloured in!
Anyway, today’s card uses the sketch for the current 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge. I’m not too sure how I feel about my interpretation! It seems to have EVERYTHING and for this CAS girl, I feel I may have gone a little overboard!
The stamps are from Hero Arts’ 2004 and 2005 collections – Graphic Lines Trees and Holiday Ribbons. I used some old Basic Grey paper, a My Favorite Things die and a Crafters Companion embossing folder! I told you – something of everything. It even has glitter!!

Christmas in July Day 9 (Day 25 of the colouring challenge)! Who remembers Elzybells? A UK designer who created the cutest stamps maybe a decade ago? I have a few of the wood-mounted stamps including this cute festive image which I coloured with the combo for the current CAS on Friday challenge.
