Tulip egg card

Hello  everyone!

After inking up a wood-mounted stamp yesterday, I chose another one for today’s card which I made for the colour challenge at  CAS Colours and Sketches.

I chose the beautiful Tulip Egg stamp by Whipper Snapper Designs. This one has 2005 on it, but I’m pretty sure I got this much later – maybe in 2010.

Anyway, I stamped it in Frayed Burlap Archival ink and coloured it with Twinkling H2O paints. I then adhered the Twiggy Nest die cut from Memory Box to my card base and added the egg and a Simon Says Stamp sentiment. I felt it still needed a little something so I coloured some white card with my three colours of Twinkling H2Os and die cut some tiny circles which I randomly adhered on the background and nest.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. The combination of the floral egg and twiggy nest with all those coloured dots makes for such a pretty Easter card Lucie! Thanks for playing over at CAS Colours & Sketches this week!
