Happy Friyay everyone!
Today I have my card for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge using products wood-mounted stamps! What a blast from the past!
I still love my wood-mounted stamps and like Christmas ornaments, I seem to have a memory attached to a lot of them! I remember picking up this egg tree stamp at the till in Archivers back in 2011 or 2012. Oh how I loved going to that store whenever I was in Chicagoland! Anyway, today I inked it up and coloured it with my Twinkling H2O paints and trimmed it to create a front panel, as per the sketch. I even went for curved edges and used my Crop-a-dile corner rounder for the first time in AGES. And it was another Archiver’s purchase back in the day!
I added a sentiment by Hero Arts (again another wood-mounted stamp – from the bargain bucket at Simon Says Create one year!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love your sweet Easter tree! The colors are so soft and pretty. I also have many old stamps in my stash that make me sentimental! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
I can see why you hung on to this stamp, it’s adorable! Great coloring!
