Fabulous Flamingos

Happy Saturday!

For today’s card, I masked off a section of cardstock and lightly blended some distress ink. I then stamped a flamingo background stamp from Simon Says Stamp using distress oxide ink. Love how easy it is to stamp with those inks.

Anyway, I used part of a sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp set and then added a die cut word from Ellen Hutson that I cut out several times for depth.

A few yellow enamel dots completed the card!

I’m entering this into a number of challenges – Freshly Made Sketches , the Color Throwdown (raspberry pink, green and yellow) and the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge (anything goes).

Rainbow Flower Row

Hi Everyone!

The theme over at the Retro Rubber Challenge Blog is Rainbow – and here is my entry!

I used an old Magenta stamp that I’ve had for at least 5 years! I love how this challenge blog is helping me rediscover my forgotten gems!

Anyway, I coloured the flowers with my Twinkling H2O’s and added a touch of Stickles and a Clearly Besotted sentiment to finish it off!

Sparkly Hello

Hi there!

For today’s card, I stamped some gorgeous blooms from Altenew’s Garden Treasure set in various shades of pink and purple ink.

I inked up some white card with distress oxide ink which I misted with Perfect Pearls and then die cut some leaves using Simon Says Stamp’s Clustered Leaves die.

I stuck all the die cuts to a base card and added a sentiment and some dots cut from glitter paper plus some silver stickles to finish off the card.

I’m entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge – Anything Goes!

You are radiant and lovely

Hi everyone!

How fabulous are the Concord and 9th turnabout stamps?! I used the sunshine turnabout stamp for this card. Love how easy it is to create sun rays with this! Anyway, I finished it off with some little hearts and a word cut from glitter paper – love the sparkle!

I’m entering this into two challenges – the Time Out Challenge and the Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge – embossing!

Seeing Stars

Hi Everyone!

Well, I don’t know what’s happened to summer! It’s very autumnal here today, which made taking a photo of today’s card quite challenging!

Anyway, here it is! I used a stamp and die set from My Favourite Things to create the main image and then added a sentiment using a combination of stamps and alphabet dies from Altenew. The letters are actually cut from glitter paper, but I just couldn’t capture the shimmer in a photo today.

I’m entering this card into two challenges – Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (seeing stars) and the My Favorite Things Colour Challenge.

Yellow rose

Hi everyone!

There’s another cute sketch over at the Case This Sketch challenge this week and I decided to use my Altenew Bamboo Rose set for my take.

I coloured the image using my Twinkling H2Os and added it to a die cut – which I had embossed using one of my favourite Taylored Expressions embossing folders.

To finish the card, I added a small sentiment from Clearly Besotted.

I’m also entering this card into the current Color Throwdown challenge – green, yellow, red and aqua.

Thanks for stopping by!
