Day 21 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2021

Hi everyone!

As Tracey McNeely isn’t running her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year, I have created my own event using 25 days from Tracey’s event posts over the last decade, as I explained in this post.

Day 21’s inspiration is Day 13, 2018. Here’s the tag I created then.

I was inspired by Kim’s colourful fairy lights and used a die set from Marianne Designs for my tag. It took a while to stick all those little glitter pieces and get them in an order where two of the same colours weren’t too close!

The sentiment is by Technique Tuesday.

Day 20 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2021

Hi everyone!

As Tracey McNeely isn’t running her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year, I have created my own event using 25 days from Tracey’s event posts over the last decade, as I explained in this post.

Day 20’s inspiration is Day 21, 2011. Oh my goodness! I just adore all those little reindeers in Tracey’s tag! Aren’t they aadorable?!

I’m still very puzzled as I’m sure I had a little reindeer family stamp, which would have been perfect for today’s tag, but I can’t seem to find it! So instead I use a fun stamp set that I picked up during one of my trips to the US- it’s called Reindeer Fun and it’s by TPC Studio

Pink, grey and silver forest

Hello again everyone!

Next up today is my entry for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge, which has one of my favourite combos – pink, grey, silver and white.

I used the gorgeous Wispy Trees by The Stamp Market, stamped with distress oxide inks. I added a few strips of silver glitter paper and some silver thread to add some different textures as well as a bit of festive bling! Finally I stamped a Mama Elephant sentiment to complete my card.

Day 18 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2021

Hi everyone!

As Tracey McNeely isn’t running her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year, I have created my own event using 25 days from Tracey’s event posts over the last decade, as I explained in this post.

Day 18’s inspiration is Day 2, 2012. I liked Tracey’s inspiration but I wanted to see her own inspiration so off I went on a Google search! As I was scanning images, I spotted these beautiful tags by Heather Nichols, so I decided to used those for my take. I used a circle frame die from The Greetery and a wonderful old wood-mounted stamp by Amuse Art Stamps!

Day 16 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2021

Hi everyone!

As Tracey McNeely isn’t running her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year, I have created my own event using 25 days from Tracey’s event posts over the last decade, as I explained in this post.

Day 16’s inspiration is Day 15, 2012. I love seeing how Tracey’s style evolved as this challenge evolved over the last decade – her early tags are very CAS and that warms my little CAS heart!!

For my take on her inspiration, I used a fun wood-mounted reindeer stamp by Rubber Soul. I has to stamp the image twice as my first impression wasn’t great, but I didn’t leave enough room for punching that circle so I used gold Stickles to hide the places where small bits of the first image showed!

Day 14 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2021

Hi everyone!

As Tracey McNeely isn’t running her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year, I have created my own event using 25 days from Tracey’s event posts over the last decade, as I explained in this post.

Day 14’s inspiration is Day 22, 2014. I was totally inspired by Emily’s fun tag and knew I had to pull out my Paper Smooches Snow Dudes stamp set again. I love how this challenge inspires me to use my older supplies that I still love so much!
