Big Bundle Heart

Hi there!

Today I’m playing along with the current Case This Sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown Challenge where the combo is navy/dark blue, light blue, pink and white.

To create the base, I embossed three white strips of card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder and adhered them to my card base. I then cut the beautiful Memory Box Bundle Heart die from navy cardstock as well as two panels created using distress ink. I adhered the Bundle Heart die cut to another heart die before inlaying the hearts. To complete my card, I added my favourite Valentine’s sentiment by Reverse Confetti.

AAA Cards One Third challenge with hearts twist

Hi there!

It’s time for another challenge at AAA Cards!  This fortnight we’d like you to create a CAS card using up to one third of your card base only; our optional twist is ‘hearts’! Our sponsor is Stamplorations.

I adhered the die cut on my card base and cut it a second time from a panel I’d created using Distress Oxide ink. I then added my favourite valentine’s sentiment (this one is by Reverse Confetti) to complete my take on the theme..

My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, Mugdha, who has some lovely inspiration on her blog!

Day 5 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2019

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event again this year!

The sponsor for Day 5 was Reverse Confetti. I absolutely LOVE Jen Mitchell’s inspiration and happily pulled out my Reverse Confetti Triangle Trees and got to work! I used some Cosmic Shimmer sparkle paste, a My Favorite Things stencil and some patterned paper for the background.

Bali Corner

Hi there!

It’s time for a new challenge at AAA Cards! The theme for this fortnight is ‘one corner’ with the optional twist of flowers. Our sponsor is Uniko.

What a fun challenge… I love using flowers on my cards, especially at this time of year! After spending some time going through my wood mounted stamps, I decided to use a die! The Memory Box Bali corner die seemed made for this challenge – and I had a lot of fun colouring it in the current CAS Colours and Sketches colour combo (coral, grape and meadow)!

I added a sentiment from Reverse Confetti and a few mini gems to finish off my card.

Butterfly birthday wishes

Hi everyone!

Today I’m sharing the super quick card I made for the current Freshly Made sketches challenge.

I created a stencil using a Reverse Confetti die and then blended some Distress Oxide ink over the base card.

I then used Impression Obsession butterfly dies to cut a background panel that I created sometime ago using more Distress Oxide inks.

To finish off my quick card, I stamped a Clearly Besotted sentiment – and resisted the urge to cover the card in bling!!

I’m also entering this into the current Time Out challenge where the theme is ‘birthday wishes’.

Happy Heart Day

Hello again everyone!

I wanted to share another card celebrating today! This one is my Day 13 Colouring for the Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge and I used one of my older Magenta wood-mounted stamps, with one of my newest sentiment stamps (by Reverse Confetti).

I kept it simple so that the focus would be on that sweet cat and this was one of my quickest makes of the month so far!
