Reverse Confetti

Hey, colourful pumpkin!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m playing along with two of my favourite challenges with this card – Freshly Made Sketches and the Color Throwdown! The pretty palette this week is purple, red and orange!

I used the beautiful pumpkin from the With a Thankful Heart set by Reverse Confetti and added a few Simply Graphic die cuts together with a sentiment from an older Avery Elle set. For the background, I applied clear glossy texture paste using the Newton Nook Pumpkin Patch stencil – really like the overall effect of that paste!

Christmas in July 2020 – Day 26

Happy Sunday all!

Welcome to Day 26 of Christmas in July! Today I’m playing along with the Card Concept challenge which has a wonderful graphic for their Christmas in July inspiration challenge. There is just so much inspiration in one photo – the retro colours, the rustic vibe, the amazing white light and window!

I knew I had to use the fabulous My Monthly Hero kit from October 2019 once again and finally inked up my favourite stamp from the set – isn’t that tree fabulous? I coloured it with my Twinkling H2Os and added a Reverse Confetti frame die, reflecting the window in the inspiration photo.

To complete my card, I added a sentiment by Mama Elephant.

Christmas in July 2020 – Day 17

Happy Friyay!

Welcome to Day 17 of Christmas in July! Today I’m playing along with one of my favourite challenges – the Color Throwdown challenge. This week’s colour palette is blue, green, peach and gold. I really like the shades in the challenge graphic this week so I knew I had to used my Speckled Egg distress oxide for the green! I decided to create a little Christmas tree scene using the fabulous Quirky Christmas set by Avery Elle!

I used a stencil to add some glittery snow to my card base and adhered the trees using foam tape.

To complete my card, I added a sentiment by Reverse Confetti.

Happy Heart Day to you!

Hi there!

Happy Heart Day friends!

Today I’m playing along with the current Color Throwdown Challenge where the combo is lavender, green, and grey.

I used a Technique Tuesday edger die and some of my patterned paper mountain. You know I have a bit of a love-hate relationship when it comes to ‘lavender’ in CTD challenges – I can never find the ‘perfect’ shade… and now that I’ve photographed this card, the lavender looks more like dusky pink… Argh!

The sentiment is by Reverse Confetti!

Big Bundle Heart

Hi there!

Today I’m playing along with the current Case This Sketch challenge and the Color Throwdown Challenge where the combo is navy/dark blue, light blue, pink and white.

To create the base, I embossed three white strips of card with a Creative Expressions embossing folder and adhered them to my card base. I then cut the beautiful Memory Box Bundle Heart die from navy cardstock as well as two panels created using distress ink. I adhered the Bundle Heart die cut to another heart die before inlaying the hearts. To complete my card, I added my favourite Valentine’s sentiment by Reverse Confetti.

Thank for stopping by!
