AAA Cards One Corner challenge with create a scene twist

Hi there!

It’s time for another challenge at AAA Cards!¬† This fortnight we’d like you to create a CAS card using one corner of your card base only. Our optional twist for this challenge is ‘create a scene’!

I had fun with this one! As the challenge spans Valentine’s Day, I knew I wanted to include that in some way as well as creating a scene. Inspired by this cute Frantic Stampers kitties die, I used Funky Fossil Designs’ Dry Stonewall stencil for the kitties to sit on and then softly blended some distress ink to create the moonlit sky. To complete my card, I added a few die cut hearts and my favourite Reverse Confetti sentiment – which I use every February without fail!

My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, Chrissie Рwho has some amazing CAS inspiration on her blog Рyou must check it out!!

Hope you can play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by!

Winged Things

Hi Everyone!

Today I’m playing along with another challenge by a favourite company, Poppystamps.

The theme for the May Poppystamps Challenge is ‘winged things’, so I went through all my butterfly dies before finally settling on the Emelia Butterfly trio set. I cut the butterflies from an ink blended panel I created a few weeks ago and added them to a card base I created from another inked background panel and a background die from Frantic Stamper. I added a sentiment by Clearly Besotted to complete my card.
