Leave a little sparkle!

Happy Friday!

So, a little story to begin – Wow! Embossing company was a sponsor at Simon Says Create last week and I was so disappointed to miss out on their fabulous, glittery Create It, Take It card. Instead, I bought the stamps and decided I’d make my own version when I got home!

I used a super simple paper technique from Jennifer McGuire instead of loose glitter – far less messy! Papers are by Die Cuts with a View and all dies are by Simon Says Stamp.

I used the colours from this week’s Color Throwdown challenge and will also enter this into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge (anything goes).

How does your garden grow?

Hi There!

The theme for this week’s Casology challenge is ‘grow’ and I immediately thought of this older silhouette stamp from Hero Arts! I paired it with an Essentials by Ellen sentiment and mounted it on panel which I embossed using a fabulous new folder from Spellbinders.

I’m also entering this into the current Blog Named Hero challenge (anything goes).

Rainbow Flowers

Hi there!

The theme for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is ‘rainbow’. I used Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies to cut the flowers and then stuck them to a distressed background (which has a generous coating of distress mica spray – gotta love that sparkle!). Sentiment is by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.

Making other plans!

Hi there!

Day 29 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge and I didn’t have too much time for colouring today as I’ve been travelling. I was able to colour this image from Penny Black using my Inktense pencils this evening!

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous and I also used a stencil from My Favourite Things to anchor the image.

I’m entering this into three challenges – Case this Sketch, Less is More (use a frame) and Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge (things with wings).

Thanks for stopping by!
