Spring Bouquet and liquid watercolours

Hi everyone!

I was able to play with the Avery Elle liquid watercolours today. I only got a couple to try but I will be getting more!

For this card, I used Avery Elle Stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.

Looking at it now, I wonder if I should have used grey cardstock as a base, rather than kraft…. Hmmm. What do you think?

Hearts Border cards

Happy Saturday everyone!

I didn’t have much time to craft today, but I did manage to make these three cute inlaid die cut cards using the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Cupids Heart Boarder die.

I also tried out the new Avery Elle liquid water colours – love them!

I added sentiments from My Favorite Things and Clearly Besotted to finish the cards.

I’m entering these into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (it must be love) and the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge (love/hearts)

Love You

Happy Friyay everyone!

Ah… embossing folders. I love them. I can’t stop buying them. I just don’t use them enough! So one of my crafty goals this year is to use all of my embossing folders – even my old cuttlebug ones!

I used a relatively new addition to my embossing folder mountain – a heart embossing folder from Carabelle Studio. I created the background using ink from My Favorite Things and then swiped some Altenew grey ink over the raised image.

The sentiment and banner dies are from Simon Says Stamp. I embossed the ‘love’ die cut with clear embossing powder a couple of time – love that glossy effect!

I’m entering this into the current Color Throwdown challenge (red, pink, grey), the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge (love is in the air), Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (it must be love) and the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge (love/hearts).

Embossed branch hearts

Hello everyone!

I’ve been playing with the Simon Says Stamp Brushed Branches background stamp today. For these cards, I embossed the image and then blended some distress oxide inks over them. I just LOVE those inks. They blend so nicely.

As Valentine’s is less than a week away, I decided to turn my backgrounds into CAS Valentine cards using a die from Memory Box and a couple of sentiments from Simon Says Stamp.

Which is your favourite??

Have a delightful day!

Hi Everyone!

I’m loving the sketch for this week’s Case This Sketch challenge – so many possibilities! In the end, I kept it simple!

I stamped and coloured a fabulous image from PaperArtsy using distress oxide inks. To finish off the card, I added a  Clearly Besotted sentiment to a blended strip of card and adhered it to the card.

Owls Line Up!

Hi everyone!

I’m participating in the ‘Work your stash Wednesdays’ challenge on Instagram and thought I’d also share this week’s card here.

The challenge theme was ‘happy birthday’ and I used a fabulous owl stamp from Woodware that I bought last year but hadn’t managed to use.

To be honest, I’m not sure about this card. Maybe it’s because I generally prefer smaller images… or maybe it’s my colouring. Not sure…..

The sentiment is a die cut from Lawn Fawn.
