Hello there everyone!
Here’s a quick card I made for the current Case This Sketch challenge using a couple of stamps from Simon Says Stamp.
I stamped and embossed the background stamp and then blended three shades of distress ink over it (I used dried marigold, spun sugar and tattered rose).
Following the sketch, I cut up the background into a number of strips and adhered them to my base card.
To finish off the card, I added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp – it’s stamped with delicata gold ink. Can you see that beautiful shimmer?
I’m also entering this into the current Colour Throwdown challenge (blush, pink and peach) and the Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge (springtime/Easter).
Thanks for stopping by!

What a fun and timely take on the sketch, Lucie! It’s a great idea for a design to send to a child! I can see a tickled child receiving this, running their finger over all the schparkly bunnies and counting them!! Hoppy Easter to you! Hugs, Darnell
