Welcome to Day 8 of LucieG’s Christmas in July 2022! Today I’m playing along in the CAS Colours and Sketches colour challenge.
I’ve been pondering how I could possibly use this combo in a festve card since Tuesday when the challenge started! I knew there had to be a way! And then inspiration struck this morning! I pulled out some of my Basic Grey paper mountain and die cuts and got crafty.
I used the Tree Line Hill by Poppystamps and smaller dies from two Penny Black die sets – the deer from the Moonlit set (51-663) and the star from the Christmas Wonderland set (51-562).
The sentiment is by My Favorite Things.

What an excellent way to use the challenge colors for a holiday card! I love how the shapes of the background circle and the ground combine visually to resemble a snow globe! This is a terrific card, and I’m so glad you shared it with us at CC&S! 🙂
