Catalina Wreath

Hello everyone!

Today I’m playing along in the colour challenge at the Just Us Girls challenge. The colour palette is ivory, soft rose and sage green – totally the colours I love to work with!

I decided to use an older Memory Box die, the beautiful Catalina Wreath, which is from 2011! It actually belongs to my mum but has lived in my collection for a while as she has taken a break from cardmaking. I coloured it with distress oxide inks and added a few white Nuvo drops. I stencilled some Nuvo glitter paste onto a piece of ivory card and then adhered the wreath and added a Creative Expressions sentiment to complete my take.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Lucie… your card is absolutely lovely. Simple and elegant. Some of the old Memory Box dies are amazing, I have more than a few myself. Your up-to-date touches made the wreath truly stand out. I am so glad that you joined and shared at Just Us Girls this week!
