Winter arrangement

Hello everyone!

Today I’m playing along with the colour challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches using products from the new Penny Black release called Hello Winter!

I lightly applied spun sugar distress ink to create a focal point and then die cut the two stems from the Frosted Greens die set (51-710). I coloured them with different shades of distress ink and then lifted any green ink from the berries using water. I adhered the stems to my card base and added a container cut from pearlescent silver card (container is from the Hanging Planters die set, 51-501). Finally I stamped a sentiment from the When Snow Falls stamp set (30-881)

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. How pretty this is Lucie! I love the simple leaves and berries in a pot, arranged on your ink blended background and with that sentiment stamped off the edge. Thank you for playing along at CAS Colours and Sketches! Vicky x

  3. Love this Lucie! Your sponged panel is a great way to create a faux frame and it is the perfect backdrop for your plant. Thanks for playing along with us over at CAS Colours and Sketches this week!
