Hi everyone!
Today I’m playing along with the sketch challenge at the Freshly Made Sketches challenge using Penny Black dies.
Following the sketch, I cut the Geometric Circles background die (51-644) and snipped it in half so I could create a longer background panel – I knew I could hide the gap with the other layers. Next I used a die from the Antique Frame set (51-397) to cut some navy card and adhered it on top of the background die – once again I had o cut this in half so I could extend it across the width of my card base. I then adhered a purple circle die cut on top, hiding the gap in the navy strip. I cut the village and pond from the winter village set (51-396) and adhered them to the circle. I added a star from the Christmas Wonderland set (51-562), cut from glitter card (which I also used for the pond!).
Thanks for stopping by!

Love that there are so many contrasting textures and layers and the overall design is still clean and fresh! It’s always a treat to see your cards in the gallery, Lucie. Thanks for playing along with us at FMS this week.
