Daisy, daisy

Hi there!

I had a bit of free time today so I decided to play along with the colour challenge at  CAS Colours and Sketches and create a card that I’ve been thinking about for a while.

I love the new Penny Black Daisy Delight die (51-676) and have lots of ideas for it but first I wanted to use it in the way it’s been designed, as an along-the-edge die. I cut it several times and then trimmed off some stems so that it would fit on a slimline card. I added some ink-blended cardstock on top of the die cuts to hide the joins in the die cuts.

The sentiment is from an older Penny Black set called Wishes (30-103).

Thanks for stopping by!

  3. What a unique and wonderful design Lucie! I love the ink blend and the way the flowers lean out into the centre of the card. Thank you for coming to play at CAS Colours and Sketches this week! Vicky x
