I’m so honoured to be the guest designer over at the Color Hues challenge this fortnight! The colour palette this time is blue and orange.
I was so excited to see this palette – there are so many possibilities for this combo! I thought about a pumpkin scene but in the end I decided to use the gorgeous Fir and Foliage No 1 stamp set. I can’t believe I’ve had this set for ages but have never played with it! I used the palest three inks from the Altenew Warm & Cozy ink set plus a couple of brown distress inks for the trunk and branches as neutrals are permitted in the challenge. I used Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans distress inks for my blended background panel. The sentiment is by Hero Arts.
The Color Hues challenge team members have come up with some gorgeous inspiration – you can see all their cards on the blog. Hope you can play along!
Thanks for stopping by!
Just gorgeous, Lucie! So wonderful to have you as our guest designer this week!
Love your softly blended sky, it really evokes a crisp autumnal day.
So pleased to have you as our GD. 🙂
Great to see your beautiful card as guest designer at Color Hues, Lucie!! I just started playing there. Since your trees are newly used, consider entering this card at the NBUS challenge – check it out https://mynbus.blogspot.com/2020/10/nbus-challenge-19.html
