When I saw the colour combo for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge (aqua, teal/turquoise, grey and metallic gold), I immediately started to think about an underwater scene. I decided to use the sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge for my take.
I made a background using Peacock Feathers distress ink and then adhered a centrepiece panel created with the Memory Box Seaweed Collage die. I cut the Family of Fish (also by Memory Box) from a background made from Hickory Smoke distress oxide and adhered a little gold fish on top.
I used some older patterned paper for the additional panels in the sketch as my Tumbled Glass distress ink panel looked much darker than I wanted. To complete my card, I added a few gold metallic dots. The sentiment is by Sugar Pea Designs.
Thank for stopping by!

Sweet – love the underwater scene! Glad you joined us at FMS!
That school of fish die is so cool! And so perfect with the surrounding die 👏. I hadn’t seen either of these; so glad you featured them on this card 😊
