It’s time for another challenge at AAA Cards! This fortnight we’d like you to create a CAS card in ‘minutes’. Our optional twist this time is ‘use a stencil’. Funky Fossil is our sponsor.
Some of you may remember that this is my least favourite challenge theme – for me crafting is relaxing, not something I want to rush through. Mind you, I have to confess that this time, I did actually make the card in minutes!
I cut a piece of acetate with a Memory Box egg die to act as my base stencil/mask and sponged on some Scattered Straw distress oxide ink. Then, without move the mask, I added my favourite Funky Fossil stencil (‘Shrubbery’) and blended some Tattered Rose/Spun Sugar distress oxide ink to create my patterned egg.
To complete my card, I added a Poppystamps sentiment and a few dots of gold Stickles.
My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, Sandie, who has some lovely inspiration on her blog!
Hope you can play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by!
Fab Easter card and use of the twist on the challenge
Smashed it Lucie! And what a brilliant and creative way to use that Funky Fossil stencil.
Great idea, I love the patterned egg, and such pretty colours. Jenny xx
Congrats on making a card in a few mins if this is not what you normally do! And what a fab card it is-love how you used the stencil with the egg and I always like off the edge cards. Thanks for the shout out x
So soft and lovely!
Amazing Easter card.
