Christmas in July – Day 8

Hello everyone!

Christmas in July Day 8 (Day 24 of the colouring challenge) and I’m so chuffed that I already have 8 cards made for this year! Today’s card uses another older snowman stamp, Flight of Fancy by PrintWorks Collection. The stamp itself is undated but I bought it on my second ever trip to a Hobby Lobby, back in October 2015 when I attended Simon Says Create for the first time!

I stamped and masked the snowman and then created a rectangular frame mask. I blended some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink in the rectangle and then stamped my background stamp (Make it Merry by October Afternoon) using Pumice Stone Distress Oxide. I coloured the snowman with my Twinkling H2Os and then added a sentiment from my newest Sugar Pea sentiment set!

I’m entering this card into the Retro Rubber Challenge where the theme is Christmas in July and the CAS Christmas challenge which has a theme of snowflake.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Oh wow, Lucie! From the picture, I thought you’d used a piece of designer paper behind your snowman. SO much more impressive that you masked, stamped and inked it! And it’s gorgeous!! Love this one… a lot! Thanks for playing along with us again at Retro Rubber Challenge.
