Happy Sunday everyone!
Last year, the talented Vicky Papaioannou demonstrated the super-cool ‘glowing moon’ technique and it quickly became one of my favourite techniques for this season.
However, I must confess it took me a few attempts and colour combos before I created a background I was happy with this week! In the end, I used purple regular distress inks, together with a little Antique Linen to create that glow. The witch stamp is by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous.
And then I tore my card when I was removing the masking tape! Argh!! I certainly wasn’t going to abandon this little scene so I added a raised black frame. The sentiment is from an older set by Krumspring stamps.
My teammates have shared some gorgeous CAS cards on the AAA Cards blog and we are also joined by one of my favourite CAS card makers, the talented Trina from Phamtastic Design as our Guest Designer. She’s a regular player in our challenges – she has some beautiful CAS creations and is a kind-hearted and encouraging member of our community. You must pay her a visit!
Thanks for stopping by – I do hope you play along with us!
