Happy Sunday everyone!
It’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards! This fortnight we are challenging you to ‘use a frame’ and our sponsor is Stamplorations.
I often use frames on my cards, but it’s been quite a while since I used this sketch frame die from Simon Says Stamp. I inlaid a blended background that I created with regular distress ink and then added a Simon Says Stamp flower die cut on top.
I wasn’t going to add a greeting at first but then I decided to include one. I planned to add a small die cut sentiment but didn’t have any that could fit into the space I wanted to use – so this is actually cut with a ‘happy valentine’s day’ die – but I think it works quite well!
I’m also entering this into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge – ‘Anything Goes’ and the current Timeout Challenge – ‘warm’.
My teammates have shared some gorgeous CAS cards on the AAA Cards blog and we are also joined by our sponsor Sherry as well as the super-talented Natasha as our Guest Designer. Natasha’s instagram handle is ‘craftawaywithme’ but she has just started her own blog – craftawaywithme.com. She has some fabulous creations – you must pay her a visit!
Thanks for stopping by – I do hope you play along with us!
love the bright color contained in your frame, against all the gorgeous white space it reall pops
Super gorgeous and very eye catching with those hot colours! Love that sketchy frame too.
Wow the blending here is wonderful and full of warmth, perfect for this CAS card, the colours just seem to pop off the page. Thanks for joining Time Out
What a gorgeous warm background, Lucie … the black frame and silhouette bloom make it positively glow! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Anita 🙂
That background is gorgeous, Lucie! The inlaid dies make such a clean look too.
