Hi there!
The theme for this fortnight’s Less is More challenge is ‘cute/one layer card’ and I immediately thought of this gorgeous Woodware lion that I had bought on pre-order. He arrived yesterday and I couldn’t wait to ink him up and get colouring.
The image is MUCH bigger than I was expecting, so I stamped it on a 7×5 card base as I wanted to still have a good amount of white space on my card. I used my prisma coloured pencils to colour it in – I still have a lot to learn with these pencils, but this was a great image to practice with!
I edged the image with a light green pencil and added a sentiment from the stamp set to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is very cute

What a terrific lion image Lucie – really adorable. Love the way you stamped it off the page very slightly. Great design. Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

I already left a comment on your IG post, but thought I’d leave you some love here too. Cute lion image with beautiful pencil colouring. Great idea to use a larger 5×7 card base and to stamp him off the edge to preserve white space. Thank you for joining us at Less is More.

Great stamp placement and a fab new stamp. Lovely colouring, it takes lots of practice doesn’t it, I’m still learning with my polychromos. Sorry for the late comment.
