Happy Friyay!
This week’s Less is More challenge is ‘stamp layering’! I have quite a few layering sets – animals, trees, flowers, Christmas-themed…. but I decided to go with a Hampton Art autumn set I got a few weeks ago.
The pumpkin image only has 2 layers, so to add depth, I inked up the solid/base stamp with two shades of ink and then used a third shade for the second/detailed stamp. I masked off my orange pumpkin and stamped the detailed stamp a few times in grey. Love how nicely it turned out!
I added some colour to the scene using my Twinkling H2Os an stuck it behind a frame I cut from a base card.
To finish off the card, I added an embossed sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!

This sure turned out wonderful! I love your design with one colorful pumpkin and the rest of them stamped with that subtle grey, great idea! Good thinking inking up the solid stamp for the pumpkin twice as well. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!
