Uncork and Unwind!

Happy Friyay!

It’s time to uncork and unwind! Yay!

There’s a sketch challenge at the Retro Rubber challenge blog and here’s my entry! I love how this challenge is making me revisit all my old wood-mounted rubber stamps. I’ve had this image for AGES. At least 8 years, I think! Where does time go? Anyway, there was no manufacturer on the stamp, just a code and luckily Google was able to tell me that this stamp is by Rubber Romance! It’s a great image to colour!

Anyway, I paired it with a very new (to me) Reverse Confetti sentiment and then used a My Favourite Things stencil to finish it off!

Thanks for looking!

  1. Hello Lucie: I’m so happy you found our RETRO RUBBER challenge and shared this awesome card with us. Yes, we are all about using your old and sometimes, neglected stamps, that haven’t seen ink in a while.
This image is fabulous and totally inviting to have a glass of wine, (maybe two, lol!!) and unwind.
Love the brick stencil and the sentiment is paired perfectly.
Thank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER, we hope you continue digging out your old stamps and join us next time.
