Bitty Botanicals

Hello everyone!!

While I love making CAS cards, I also love acquiring lots of pretty flowery products and just couldn’t resist the Bitty Botanicals suite by The Greetery. Well I tried to resist it, but just ended up buying it bit by bit over six months!! It’s such a clever little set where the greenery is stamped and then the flowers are stencilled.

I was originally going to create a CAS card with the little flowers but I just couldn’t cut the background image when I finished the stamping and stencilling! Next time!!

I added the Diamond Ribbons die cut to the image and adhered a few glittery ribbons and a Pinkfresh Studio sentiment to complete my card.

Beautiful Branches

Happy Friyay everyone!

Who remembers Prima flowers? Oh, how I loved them. Still do… I just never use them! Anyway, one fabulous set served as the colour inspiration for today’s card.

Today’s new and unused product suite of choice is the Beautiful Branch set by Pinkfresh Studio which was sold out in our UK retailers but which I picked up directly from Pinkfresh during their amazing Small Business Saturday sale.

I coloured two branches with Pinkfresh and Distress inks and arranged them on my card before stamping the sentiment. I added some stickles as this was going to be a mailable card but them decided to add a few tiny die cut butterflies which are pretty delicate and probably won’t survive whatever Royal Mail are doing during the mail processing nowadays!

Bright Garden Bouquet

Hi everyone!!

Another day, another Pinkfresh card! Today’s new and unused product suite of choice is the Garden Bouquet set which I picked up deeply discounted in an amazing Black Friday sale.

I wanted a bright and cheery card to a friend and totally stepped outside my comfort zone with the orange and yellow colour combo! I added an Altenew vase and adhered the images to a background panel that I had cut using the Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die, which I bought at the same time.

I had originally centred the vase and wasn’t going to add a sentiment. Then I decided to move the image to the left which opened up a great spot for a small sentiment – this one is by The Greetery.

Not much dimension on this card – just a few layers and stickles rather than gems. I really don’t know what Royal Mail is doing with these cards but at Christmas, all gems on every single card I received had been forced through the envelope (it’s quite a testament to the glue used that they were still in situ I suppose!).

Sunshine Flowers

Hello everyone!!

Back to my recent Pinkfresh Studio purchases today and I’ve chosen the cheerful image from the Humbled and Grateful product suite. I had a lot of fun colouring this image in a slightly different way today because I decided to focus the colour at the ends of the petals – I really like how it turned out!

I adhered it to a panel that I had cut with the Stitched Diamonds Coverplate die (another Black Friday bargain!) and added a sentiment that was lurking in my sentiments box.

It’s a little early in the month for me to commit a project to the January Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge but as we can add three entries I’m going to link it up. The theme for the month is ‘Year in Review’ – and I have chosen the April 2025 theme of Floral Frenzy!

Sweet Blossoms Oval

Happy Saturday everyone!!

Today’s crafty adventures started with Pinkfresh Studio. Be warned I suspect Pinkfresh will feature a lot this year as I went a bit wild with purchasing their amazing product suites last year after I rediscovered them in 2024.

I had wanted the beautiful Sweet Blossoms stencil/die combo for a while but it was sold out in the UK…. so when it was on sale at Pinkfresh I grabbed it up as fast as I could!

I often find it difficult to stay true to my CAS roots when I’m crafting with the Pinkfresh suites because I want to use every image I create! Today I have managed to use just 3 of the 7 images I created from the Sweet Blossoms. I HOPE I remember use the rest of the images soon!

Festive Foliage wishes

Hello everyone!!

The theme for the December Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge is ‘Very Merry’ and I decided to CASE my last card using the challenge colour palette!

This time, I used the Holiday Diamond Coverplate for my background – I popped the trees and stars out and adhered the panel to some multicoloured mirror card. I coloured my embossed Festive Foliage Tree image with the challenge colours and added Evergreen into the mix. Once again the entire card is supported by an octagon from the Octagon Grid Coverplate die, although I made a larger folded card support for this tree, making it much more stable.
