Geometric encouragement card

Hi there!

The theme for this week’s Less is More challenge is ‘geometric’ – and this card is nothing like I had originally planned. In fact I was getting some hexagon dies out when I spotted this lovely image on a Paperartsy stamp set and I knew I had to use it. It kind of reminds me of an odd chemical compound!

I decided to turn this into a male encouragement card and so added a sentiment from The Ton Stamps – loving their stamps!

Thanks for looking!

You are loved

Hi everyone!

I’m loving the new Mama Elephant release, aren’t you? The little kitties are so cute and such fun to colour.

For this card I used the ‘petaled pink’ colour palette from the Seven Hills Crafts monthly challenge. I really struggled when I tried to match up some purple cardstock to use as a base, but then I decided to create my own. Hope you can see the shimmer from the Twinkling H2O’s!

All stamps are by Mama Elephant.

Thanks for stopping by!

Koala-ty friend!

Happy Saturday!

I fell in love with the new koala layering stamps from Hero Arts as soon as I saw them and I was literally stalking the Simon Says Stamp website until they appeared!

I couldn’t wait to ink them up as soon as they landed on my doormat! And who says koalas have to be grey!

I’m entering this into the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Thanks for looking!

You make the world better

Hi everyone!

The theme for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is ‘a hint of pink’ and I used one of my older Hero Arts stamps with one of my newest ones!

I stamped this in Antique Linen distress ink, as I was practicing my no-lines colouring, but the ink was a little more intense than I had wanted.

After yesterday, I resisted the urge to glitter everything but I couldn’t quite stay away from my Pretty Pink Posh sequins!
