30 Day Christmas Card Challenge 2024 – Day 16

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Martin’s 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge this month.

The theme of Day 16’s challenge is ‘mistletoe mischief’.

When I saw the theme, I immediately thought I would use a Memory Box die that I use every festive season, but when I was going through my box looking for it, I spotted the lovely Mistletoe Branches dies by Waffle Flower Crafts and decided I should use that instead. I paired it with a Waffle Flower bag die and a Simon Says Stamp embossing folder.

30 Day Christmas Card Challenge 2024 – Day 14

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Martin’s 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge this month.

The theme of Day 14’s challenge is ‘Christmas morning’.

It took me a long while to choose a stamp for this challenge! I asked a few friends what the theme conjures up for them – they said presents but I wanted to take a different route…

I originally thought of a peaceful landscape to create a Christmas dawn but while looking through my older stamps, I unearthed my Elzybells stamps and found this sweet Rudolph image. I immediately thought that this could be my different take on the theme – dear Rudolph, completely exhausted on Christmas morning after his very busy night!

I coloured the image with my Twinkling H2O paints and distress inks and created a window scene using the Poppystamps Grand Madison Window die and a brickwork embossing folder by Stampin’ Up.

30 Day Christmas Card Challenge 2024 – Day 13

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Martin’s 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge this month.

The theme of Day 13’s challenge is ‘poinsettia perfection’.

I have a good selection of poinsettias but opted for a bargain that I picked up at the start of the year but didn’t get round to using for my Christmas in July. Said bargain is the beautiful Memory Box Poinsettia Corner embossing folder which comes with two dies which I used for the mirror card poinsettias. I coloured some red cardstock with Lumberjack Plaid and Scorched Timber distress inks before embossing it. After adding the mirror card poinsettias, I added a few red pearls to random berries.

30 Day Christmas Card Challenge 2024 – Day 11

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Martin’s 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge this month.

The theme of today’s challenge is ‘Frosty’s Wonderland’.

I used an oldie but goodie die set by Create-A-Smile that I bought YEARS ago but I seem to reach for it every year. As I have a HUGE jar of hexagon sequins, I turned this into a shaker.

The embossing folder is by Spellbinders.

30 Day Christmas Card Challenge 2024 – Day 8

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Martin’s 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge this month.

The theme of Day 8’s challenge is ‘candy cane wishes’.

I hunted through my supplies, but much like gingerbread, I have very limited choices for candy canes, just a couple of rather small dies. As I’m playing catch up this weekend, rather than use those, I chose to use some candy-cane inspired patterned paper plus Tim Holtz dies and a favourite embossing folder from last year.
