Technique – colouring

Featuring colouring other than watercolouring

Thank you Bella

Hi everyone!

The theme for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is ‘Going Dotty’ and I immediately thought of some circle dies from SSS that I haven’t used for AGES. I used stamps from Stamping Bella which I coloured using Twinkling H2Os.

I finished off the card by adding a few enamel dots in the frame – I used some actate behind the frame where it comes off the card.

Congrats, Grad

Happy Friday! I have to say I think I love today’s lesson in the Online Card Classes Sparkle and Shine workshop the best so far!

And I love my Nuvo glitter paste which I bought ages ago but only jut tried today! I used it with a stencil made from a Lawn Fawn die to create a special frame on this card.

All stamps are by Hero Arts.

I’m entering this card into the current Casology challenge (commencement) and also the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge (Frame it).

Miss You

Hi there!

For today’s card I chose an older stamp from Penny Black together with an Altenew sentiment. I coloured the image stamp with distress markers and then spritzed it with a little water before stamping on to watercolour paper.

This was a super fast card to make, although I couldn’t resist adding a few sequins to this one as well!

I’m entering this into the current Case This Sketch challenge.

You make the world better

Hi everyone!

The theme for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is ‘a hint of pink’ and I used one of my older Hero Arts stamps with one of my newest ones!

I stamped this in Antique Linen distress ink, as I was practicing my no-lines colouring, but the ink was a little more intense than I had wanted.

After yesterday, I resisted the urge to glitter everything but I couldn’t quite stay away from my Pretty Pink Posh sequins!

Tulip Vase

Hi there! The theme for the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge is ‘tulips’ and it gave me the chance to use one of my very first stamps from Hero Arts! Using this brought back lots of memories!

I coloured the image using my Twinkling H2Os and used an embossing folder from Darice Crafts to create a the base panel.

I’m also entering this into the ‘anything goes’ challenge hosted by A Blog Named Hero.
