Day 19 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event again this year.

The sponsor for Day 19 was Waffle Flower. I loved the floral inspiration by Maria and used a Penny Black Stamp and word die by Poppystamps for my tag as I don’t have many Waffle Flower products.

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 13 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event again this year.

The sponsor for Day 13 was Paper Sweeties. When I saw the tag made by Karen I thought I could adapt it using some of my Hero Arts supplies! I replaced the truck with the fun retro car from the October 2019 My Monthly Hero kit! And can you believe I stamped and cut out all those individual snowballs?! Took me quite a while as it was a bit fiddly! I covered them in Wink of Stella, but sadly you can’t see the shimmer in this photo!

Day 9 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event again this year.

The sponsor for Day 9 was Pink & Main – they have some super cute stamps but sadly this is another brand which is under represented in my festive supplies!

The inspiration tags were wonderful and Lindsey L’s striking tag really caught my eye. As soon as I saw that blinged-out edging, I knew I had to give it a go! Let me tell you, it was VERY fiddly, but I’m glad I spent the time on this, I just love how sparkly it is!

The llama stamp is by Neat & Tangled and I used another Mama Elephant sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 4 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Hi there!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event this year.

The sponsor for Day 4 was Newton’s Nook. I love Newton so I had a lot of choice when it came to choosing supplies for this tag! I loved the inspiration tags and decided to use one created by Kim for my inspiration.

AAA Cards One Corner challenge with cosy twist

Hi there!

It’s time for another challenge at AAA Cards!  This fortnight we’d like you to create a CAS card using one corner of your card base only; our sponsor is Stamplorations. Our optional twist for this challenge is ‘cosy’!

I decided to use one of my vast collection of Newton Nook stamps for this card – there are a couple of sets that would work really well, but I love this image of Newton in the laundry basket – he looks so cosy, I knew it would be perfect for the challenge. I used a stencil by Newton’s Nook to ground my image which I coloured with my Twinkling H2O paints and fussy cut. The sentiment is also by.. yep, Newton’s Nook!

My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, and one of my favourite cardmakers, Angie – go check out her blog, it’s so inspiring!!

Hope you can play along with us!

Hey, colourful pumpkin!

Hello everyone!

Today I’m playing along with two of my favourite challenges with this card – Freshly Made Sketches and the Color Throwdown! The pretty palette this week is purple, red and orange!

I used the beautiful pumpkin from the With a Thankful Heart set by Reverse Confetti and added a few Simply Graphic die cuts together with a sentiment from an older Avery Elle set. For the background, I applied clear glossy texture paste using the Newton Nook Pumpkin Patch stencil – really like the overall effect of that paste!
