Today I’m playing along in the Freshly Made Sketches challenge .
I ordered a few dies from Bumbleberrys last week as soon as they received the latest release from the Memory Box family. I really loved the new Backyard Floral Stems die and it was so much fun to play with today. I added it to a background that I had embossed with a bargain Spellbinders folder that I picked up in their sale a few weeks ago.

Today I’m playing along the Color Throwdown which has a fabulous palette of is grey. navy and white.
I didn’t own any stitching dies until a few weeks ago when I spotted this beautiful background die in the Spellbinders sale. When I saw the combo, I just had to try it out – luckily I had some grey thread to hand!
I adhered the stitched panel to a white card base and chose a shadow sentiment to add a bit more white to my creation! The die is by Birch Press Design.

Today I’m playing along in the Color Throwdown challenge.
I recently bought a few older Pink Fresh Studio dies when they were on super sale so I decided to use them for this card. I started by creating a panel with Seedless Preserves distress ink which I cut with the Floral Harmony die. I cut it a second time from white cardstock. I coloured the individual elements with distress inks and inlaid them into the Seedless Preserves oval. I then cut the Ornate Oval Frame from white cardstock and adhered the Floral Harmony oval in the centre.
I used the Spellbinders Embossing Folder of the month (May I think) on my card base and adhered the oval frame on top. After playing with a few sentiments, I decided to leave my card blank. Quite honestly I didn’t want to cover that pretty Floral Harmony at all!

Today I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.
This card definitely evolved as I was making it and it’s very different from the card I had originally planned! In fact the only item that I kept the same was the panel that I’d embossed with the Spellbinders May 2022 Embossing Folder! I decided to adhere it to a piece of patterned paper and then found the fabulous Be Bold Blooms die cut image in my bits and pieces bowl – it matched the paper I’d chosen so well! I added a few Nuvo Jewel drops and a sentiment by Pretty Pink Posh to complete my card.

Today I’m playing along with the ‘Can You Handle the Pressure‘ challenge where the twist is pastels.
I’ve been wanting to use my beautiful Cherry Blossom Darice folder again this spring but haven’t got around to it – until now! I created an inky panel using Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink and embossed it. I added some stickles into the centre of the flowers.
I added a sprig from Spellbinders’ Be Bold Blooms die set and a Pretty Pink Posh sentiment to complete my card.

Hello Everyone!
Today I’m playing along with the six pack colour challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare. I LOVE how this challenge asks you to use one of the colours for the card base – I’m really enjoying making cards with different colour backgrounds right now!
I spent ages matching Bazzill card stock to the challenge colours on my ipad. And then, of course they look so different in the photo. Especially the rosemary and toffee colours – I’m quite disappointed about that.
Anyway, all dies are from Spellbinders’ Be Bold Blooms die set and I added an Impress Cards & Crafts sentiment.
