The Freshly Made Sketches challenge is celebrating 300 sketches this week and here is my take on their fabulous sketch.
I used a die from Clearly Besotted, plus a Tim Holtz/Sizzix embossing folder and patterned paper from My Minds Eye.
After cutting out the ‘yay’, I coated it with sparkle embossing powder – this card really sparkles in real life – will add a close up later!

The theme for this week’s Less is More challenge is ‘spots and stripes’ and it’s time for the dreaded one-layer card!
Actually, I quite enjoy making one-layer cards…. but this time it was VERY DIFFICULT not to add some sequins!
I used a fishtail die to create a mask and then did some ink blending and stencilling to create the image. I added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp to finish it off!
