PinkFresh Studio

Garden Medley delight

Hello again!

Next up today is my entry into this fortnight’s Color Throwdown challenge which has a combo of green, turquoise and orange.

I decided to use the stunning Pinkfresh Studio Garden Medley product suite which was part of the release that I won last month. When I watched the Sneak Peeks live, I ADORED the cards that Raquel made with this suite but felt that there was no way I could justify buying it because I don’t use background stamps enough. Well after winning it, you can guess that it was the first thing I inked up! It’s a true joy to colour with the stencils. In fact, I love using it so much, I ended up creating two cards with different shades of the combo.

Another member of the DT, Debby, shared an acetate card with this image and I had to give it a go! I love how they turned out, but they are so difficult to photograph! If you look at the first card, you can see that a square section has not been die cut – I thought I could use the reverse of this area for my message. I decided to try it without that square in the second image. I think I prefer it that way as you can see more acetate, although my message will be written in very small letters!

You are Treasured

Hello everyone!!

Last month, I was lucky to win the entire Sunshine and Smiles release from Pinkfresh Studio. It was like Christmas when it landed on my doormat! I finally had time to play with some of the release on Saturday and made a card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I lightly blended some distress ink over some Craft Consortium patterned paper, cut it with the largest die from the Dotted Postage Square die set and adhered to my square card base. I then stamped and stencilled the branches and vases using the Keepsakes of the Heart product suite. the sentiment is from the same set.

Made in May Card 14

Hello everyone!!

It’s been a busy bank holiday Monday for me – mainly dodging rain showers to cut my lawn! Fortunately I just managed to squeeze in time for my entry into the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

I used a few images that I had already created during earlier crafty sessions – more images from Pinkfresh Studio’s beautiful Sakura stamp set that I used last month and that woodslice is by Stampin’ Up.

The fabulous embossing folder is the Rosette Burst by Spellbinders and the sentiment is by Sugar Pea Designs.

Made in May Card 7

Hello everyone!!

Last year, I rediscovered Pinkfresh Studio products when I attended one of their online cardmaking events and I’ve been growing my collection of their product suites ever since.

Their older products are quite difficult to get hold of in the UK and I know I missed out on a lot of beautiful releases. Happily I was able to get hold of the stunning Breezy Blossoms cling stamp/stencil/die suite. The red rubber stamps emboss beautifully and are a joy to colour!

For today’s card I used the individual images to create a little wreath which actually serves as a frame for the sentiment that is from a set I received for one of their events last year. So I decided I could enter this into the current Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge which has ‘Frame it Up’ as a theme.

Made in May Card 4

Hello everyone!!

Today I’m playing along with the current Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge which has ‘Frame it Up’ as a theme.

I recently uncovered a couple of older Pinkfresh dies that I bought a few years ago so paired one with vellum die cuts from the Flowers for the Soul and Blissful Butterflies product suites. I love using the vellum product suites – so pretty with the gold accents.

The sentiment is by Memory Box.

Best wishes with Butterfly Bliss

Hello everyone!!

After thinking I wouldn’t play along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge this week, inspiration struck so here I am!

I knew I wanted to create something a bit different, so instead of two rectangular panels, I cut two flowery shapes which I edged with ink and dry embossed with a Simon Says Stamp folder called Jubilee.

The images are from the new Pinkfresh Studio Butterfly Bliss product suite and coloured using my older Altenew inks.

The sentiment is by the Ton Stamps.
