PinkFresh Studio

All Things Merry

Hello everyone!!

Today I’m playing along with the current Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge which has a theme of ‘Texture & Shine’.

I used a few of my new Pinkfresh products – the fabulous Bloomlight Stitches Coverplate die that landed on my doormat yesterday plus the Holiday Express dies (trees) and some patterned mirror card and got crafty! I added some glittery thread for added texture and replaced a few little circles on the background with glittery circles.

The sentiment is from a set that was the October 2025 Create & Connect event swag.

Basket of flowers

Hi there everyone!!

I’ve been taking a break from card challenges recently but when I saw that one of my favourite challenges, Freshly Made Sketches was celebrating a major milestone, I had to play along. This week’s challenge is number 700 meaning that the weekly challenge has been running for 14 years! 14 years!! Isn’t that amazing?! I’m really grateful to the team who always work so hard each week – coming up with amazing inspiration and leaving kind and uplifting comments. Thank you so much – I know being a challenge DT member is quite a commitment and I really appreciate all you do.

The challenge this week uses sketch number 14 and each DT member shared when they first started playing along with the challenge. I got curious and I think I started back in November 2016 for challenge number 261 – I didn’t have a blog back then but shared on Instagram only.

For my card, I used the gorgeous Into The Blooms – Above Ground die set by Papertrey Ink. This beautiful set was just released last month, and I just had to buy it from the US as I haven’t found a UK retailer for Papertrey. I love that basket and all the little elements… although I think some of those tiny dies may end up on the AWOL list before too long! I coloured the images with various inks and then arranged them on a card base that I had covered with four squares from the Dotted Postage Squares die set by Pinkfresh Studio.

Christmas in July 2025 – Day 26

Hi there!

It’s Day 26 of LucieG’s Christmas in July 2025!

I’m slowly building my Pinkfresh Studio collection and when I saw the Winter Berries product suite, I HAD to have it! It’s retired so it took me a while to track it down, but I’m glad I did – it is a joy to colour!

Today, I arranged all the die cut berry branches in a pail from the Taylored Expressions Antique Pails set and adhered everything to a base layer that I had embossed with a Nellie Snellen folder.

Christmas in July 2025 – Day 24

Hi there!

It’s Day 24 of LucieG’s Christmas in July 2025!

I’m combining old and new again today! I picked up Pinkfresh Studio’s pretty Folk Snowflake product suite late last year. I’m not sure when it was released. Maybe 2023? I particularly loved the three sentiments that came with the snowflake image – but typically I haven’t used them today! The stamped sentiment is from a rather older Hero Arts set.

For the background, I used Memory Box’s Silent Snowflake Frame die from 2017 and added a few flakes from2015’s Shimmering Snowflakes set.

Christmas in July 2025 – Day 20

Hi there!

It’s Day 20 of LucieG’s Christmas in July 2025!

I’ve been missing creating with my Pinkfresh Studio supplies this month as I don’t have many festive products by them. But today I pulled out a product suite called Joy of the Season which I had as part of the October 2024 Create and Connect event.

I really like the arch design but I’ve been struggling with how to use it. Well today I realised that it would be a perfect frame to showcase a pretty embossed background! I chose the beautiful Pinecones & Berries folder by Spellbinders.

The sentiment is by Poppystamps.

Christmas in July 2025 – Day 18

Happy Festive Friday!

It’s Day 18 of LucieG’s Christmas in July 2025!

I’ve had this beautiful Piped Icing Star by Birch Press Design for sometime now. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to use it…. and isn’t that snowflake amazing? That will be appearing on other cards soon I think!

The card design went through MANY versions: a background die (no), an embossed background (no), foliage at the top and bottom (no), foliage at the top only (also no)… but I think I needed to go through each step to get to the final version… and it didn’t actually take THAT long to go through all the stages. The foliage I kept is by Pinkfresh Studio and the cute bow is an older Poppystamps die.

Once again, I wasn’t sure where to put the sentiment so in the end I decided it didn’t need one!
