Flutter of Butterflies

HI there!

I have to admit that this is totally not the card I had in mind for today but my evening was hijacked by a broken computer – the second time in less than a month and I’ve only had it for five weeks.

This started as a single Pinkfresh Studio washi die but quickly escalated! I ended up using another of Simply Graphic’s versatile notebook dies plus a bargain Simon Says Stamp embossing folder called Floral Festoon that I picked up from their sale section last year. The sentiment is also by Pinkfresh.

Three Textures

Hello everyone!!

After seeing how many embossing folders I still have in my new/unused container, I’m stepping up my use of them today! Admittedly these two are very new compared to others in my container but I’m very pleased to have used two on one card!

I’ve had the Mod Vases die set by Altenew for a long time although rarely use it because it was too big for my flower dies. But I think it works very well with this beautiful bouquet from Pinkfresh Studio’s Flowers for the Soul washi suite! I embossed the vase with a section of the amazing Textured Blocks folder by Altenew. I just got this and I love that it provides a choice of four textures at a perfect scale in my view. Mind you, this vase is so big it only just fit in one section of the folder!

The background folder is from an order I placed in December – the Lined Circles embossing folder by Dina Wakely for Spellbinders. a big folder but it works well on UK A6 cards.

The sentiment is by The Greetery.

Beyond happy for you

Hello everyone!!

I picked up this beautiful Playful Petals product suite by Pinkfresh Studio when Craftstash was closing down last year. I was so chuffed to get a Pinkfresh bargain and couldn’t wait to use it… and here we are 8 or 9 months later…. Better late than never I guess!

This was a fun stamp to colour – it took me longer than I usually spend but I’m so grateful for these stencils – even when I take a bit longer, I’m still much quicker than when I used paint or pencils. And it’s far less stressful!

I ran the beautiful Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die over a white panel and adhered the flower image and a few pearls. To complete my card I added a sentiment from the Beyond Happy set.

Today is Day 20 of working through my newish/unused box and it’s starting to look emptier! I still have a fair number of embossing folders to use though!

This is my third project that I’m entering into the January Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge. The theme for the month is ‘Year in Review’ – and I have chosen the April 2025 theme of Floral Frenzy.

CAS – the sakura

Happy Sunday everyone!!

I find it quite a challenge to create CAS cards with Pinkfresh Studio products, but here is what I came up with today!

That beautiful branch is from the Sakura product suite. I’ve actually already used the stamp from this suite a few times, but this is the first time using the washi. My new product for today is actually a couple of dies from the Elegant Circles die set that arrived on Friday. I even used some of my Bazzill Bling cardstock – it matches the green of the leaves so perfectly!

To complete my card, I added part of a sentiment from the Tiny Words set I got with a Create & Connect event kit.

Best wishes blooms

Happy Friyay! Well, it is the last few minutes of Friyay here at least!

I had a lot of fun colouring the images from Pinkfresh Studio’s Folk Garden 2 cling stamp suite, but the actual design itself took me most of the evening – nothing seemed to work! I kept adding and removing elements and second guessing myself. I got there in the end I suppose!

I adhered the elements to a panel that I’d embossed with the Dotted Scallops coverplate, added an old Poppystamps bow and a Pinkfresh sentiment to complete my card.

Joyful Day

Hello everyone!!

I picked up the Pinkfresh Studio Joyful Day product suite in a Black Friday sale. After passing on a beautiful leafy Stamptember collaboration back in 2023 (the one that got away!), I seem to have acquired MANY of their leafy products in 2025!

When I saw how the four stencils worked, I wasn’t too sure how best to use them… then I saw an amazing card on the Pinkfresh website  The designer used a darker shade at the opposite end of each section of leaf – something that I would never have thought of doing but which gave an amazing impression of depth!

I chose another combo from my new inspiration book and got blending. It took a little while and I need a bit more practice, but I like how the leaves turned out! I added a few sequins and a sentiment from the Fluttering Butterflies set to complete my card.

This is my second project that I’m entering into the January Pinkfresh Studio monthly challenge. The theme for the month is ‘Year in Review’ – and I have chosen the June 2025 theme of Rainbow Reverie!
