AAA Cards One Layer challenge with Silhouettes twist

Hi there!

It’s time for the a new challenge at AAA Cards!  This fortnight we’d like you to create a one-layer CAS card; our optional twist is ‘silhouettes’.

For my card, I created an ink-blended centre panel using a Taylored Expressions stencil and then stamped the image from a mini Penny Black set called The Sweetest.

To complete my quick card, I added a sentiment by Altenew.

My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, Monika, who has some lovely inspiration on her blog!

Merry Christmas Lights

Hi everyone!

Today I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

For this card, I was inspired by Libby who created a beautiful card using a Hero Arts background/frame die! I immediately thought that my brand new Penny Black Looped Stackers dies could be coupled with the Concord & 9th ornaments from their Take a Bough Trimmings set. I coloured the baubles with my Tonic Nuvo markers and applied some Nuvo glaze on top of each of them. The sentiment is by Savvy Stamps.

Day 24 – 25 Days of Christmas Tags 2020

Hi everyone!

I’m playing along with Tracey McNeely’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event again this year.

The sponsor for Day 24 was Heffy Doodle and the team had many colourful tags – such great inspiration. When I saw the tree tag that Tallie created, I thought of the Tannenbaum cling stamp by Penny Black so decided to use that for my tag. The sentiment is from a set by My Favorite Things.
