Frangia Bouquet

Good morning friends!

Today I’m playing along with the March Memory Box challenge where the theme is ‘flower power’.

I pulled out one of my older dies – the Frangia Bouquet from 2013 which I coloured using blended distress inks.

I stencilled some glitter paste on my base card and adhered the die cut once the glitter was dry. The embossed sentiment is by Clearly Besotted.

Butterfly Bear

Hello!

Today I’m playing along with the February Penny Black & More challenge where the theme is ‘anything goes’ with the option of tags.

For my take, I pulled out another of my adorable bear stamps – ‘Butterfly Bear’ by Penny Black. After stamping and colouring the image, I cut it out using a Penny Black tag die and added a Clearly Besotted sentiment.

I wanted to add a little something to the background and was delighted to stumble across my old ‘Butterfly Edge’ stamp, also by Penny Black. Originally I was going to stamp this using some pink or purple ink but I kept it simple in the end and used Pumice Stone distress oxide. I’m glad I did, I really like the subtle image it created!

Magenta Flowers

Hello everyone!

I wanted to share my Day 15 colouring for the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge using my 15th wood-mounted stamp! This one is by Magenta and I decided I would play along with the current Color Throwdown Challenge again as the dark pink/grey/black combo is so versatile!

Anyway, I coloured the images using my Twinkling H2Os and added a few Nuvo drops to the centre of the middle flower. To finish off my very CAS one-layer card, I added a Clearly Besotted sentiment.

Sweet buds

Hello everyone!

Day 6 of the Daily Marker Colouring Challenge on Instagram and Day 6 of my personal challenge to use my older wood-mounted rubber stamps.

Today’s chosen stamp is called ‘Sweet Buds’ by Penny Black and is from 2012! I so enjoyed playing with this one again!

I stamped and coloured the image and then I embossed a frame using a circle die. I then masked around the circle and blended a little grey distress ink. The sentiment is by Penny Black.

This was such a fun one-layer card – and although I’ve already shared my DT creation for AAA Cards Challenge this week, this card also fits our theme and optional twist!

Anyway, I’m entering this card into three challenges: Penny Black & More,  CAS Colours & Sketches and a new-to-me challenge, Hand Stamped Sentiments.
