Next, I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
I pulled out my older Basic Grey papers and got to work. I started by adhering the patterned paper banner to my card base and then used the Birch press Design Sparkler Butterfly to cut more Basic Grey papers. I added a butterfly body from a Memory Box butterfly die and completed my card with a Hero Arts stamped sentiment.

Hi there!
It’s time for another challenge at AAA Cards! This fortnight we’d like you to create a CAS card using up to one third of your card base only; our optional twist is ‘hearts’! Our sponsor is Stamplorations.
I adhered the die cut on my card base and cut it a second time from a panel I’d created using Distress Oxide ink. I then added my favourite valentine’s sentiment (this one is by Reverse Confetti) to complete my take on the theme..
My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined a previous challenge winner, Mugdha, who has some lovely inspiration on her blog!

I’m back to share the card I made for the current Color Throwdown Challenge where the palette is navy, coral, teal and cream.
My mojo has been somewhat lacking of late so I turned to my trusty dies! I chose the Birch Press Design Flutter Plate Layer set that I purchased a few years ago. I cut each later from different coloured cardstock and stuck each frame together. I then used the top cover plate die to cut a piece of cream cardstock which I then embossed using a ‘Happy Birthday’ embossing folder.
Finally, I adhered some vellum to the back of my butterflies before adhering the image to a card base.

I am back with my entry into the current CAS on Friday challenge which has the theme of butterfly.
I used the Birch Press Design Sparkler Butterfly Layer Set with coloured cardstock. The base layer is standard white card, but I wanted the bottom layer to sparkle so I die cut the second layer from white glitter card as well and inlaid the little centre pieces before adhering the final two coloured layers.
While the butterfly is stunning by itself, I wanted to add a little soft detail to the background, while keeping the card CAS. I softly applied some distress oxide ink through the fabulous Shrubbery stencil from Funky Fossil Designs.
I stamped a sentiment from My Favorite Things to finish off my card.

I am back with my entry into the current Freshly Made Sketches challenge!
I used the Birch Press Design Dahlia Mini Frame Layer Set to cut into three panels that I’d coloured with Distress Oxide Inks. I layered them onto a background panel and inlaid the centres of the petals which I had cut from glitter cardstock.
I added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp to finish off my card.
