Happy Birthday, Daffodil!

For this card, I used one of my favourite stamps by Penny Black and coloured it using my Twinkling H2Os. I trimmed a panel and then added the cross stitched embossing to two sides using a Lawn Fawn die. The sentiment is by Clearly Besotted and the patterned paper is from My Mind’s Eye.

I’m entering this into the Penny Black and More Challenge – spring and also the current Casology challenge – ‘season’.

My World

Hi everyone!

The theme for this month’s Where Creativity Meets C9 challenge is ‘one layer card’ and here’s my entry. All stamps are by Concord & 9th. I used several shades of disctress ink to add depth to the map and then embossed it. I stamped the sentiment using the gold Delicata ink – love that shimmer!

Oh Happy Day!

Hi everyone! I love the inspiration photo for the current Time Out Challenge and here is my take!

I used distress ink to create a blended ink background and then applied lots of distress mica spray for shimmer! I then used this and some Bazzill bling cardstock to do inlaid die-cutting with a fabulous butterfly die from Spellbinders.

I added a sentiment stamp from Simon Says Stamp and so I’m also entering this into the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr challenge – sparkle and shine.

Tulip Vase

Hi there! The theme for the current Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge is ‘tulips’ and it gave me the chance to use one of my very first stamps from Hero Arts! Using this brought back lots of memories!

I coloured the image using my Twinkling H2Os and used an embossing folder from Darice Crafts to create a the base panel.

I’m also entering this into the ‘anything goes’ challenge hosted by A Blog Named Hero.

How does your garden grow?

Hi There!

The theme for this week’s Casology challenge is ‘grow’ and I immediately thought of this older silhouette stamp from Hero Arts! I paired it with an Essentials by Ellen sentiment and mounted it on panel which I embossed using a fabulous new folder from Spellbinders.

I’m also entering this into the current Blog Named Hero challenge (anything goes).
