Spring and Easter

A bunny Easter egg!

Hi there!

I finally got round to using this cute Avery Elle Easter image that I have had for a couple of years! Such fun to colour with my Twinkling H2Os! I added a Woodware sentiment and used Lawn Fawn dies to add interest to the background.

I’m entering this into the Seven Hills monthly challenge, the Color Throwdown challenge and also the current AAA challenge (shiny spring).

Egg-stra Special!

Happy Saturday! I used Lawn Fawn’s Happy Hatchlings die set for this Easter card. Yes, I confess it took a long time to do the inlaid die cutting for those dotty eggs! Even did a bit of controlled ink smooshing which is not one of my usual techniques but I think you’ll be seeing it more in future!!

I found this sentiment in my Easter stamp box – bought it years ago from Archivers. Ah, such a wonderful store and very sorely missed!

I’m entering this into the current Color Throwdown challenge.

Happy Spring!

Hi there!

The daffodils are gradually being replaced by tulips in my part of the world and today I saw some beautiful tulips in Borde Hill Gardens which inspired me to make this card using a beautiful Memory Box die. The stamp is by Simon Says Stamp and I also used a new Altenew Stencil to add some interest to the base card.

I’m entering this into the current Case This Sketch challenge.

Happy Easter Bunny!

Hi there!

The theme for this week’s Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is ‘anything goes’ using products by Stampendous. I coloured an older stamp with my beloved Twinkling H2Os and embossed a background panel using a wonderful folder by Leanne Creatif – it’s a great size for bigger cards!
