Deco Thank you

Hello friends!

Today I’m playing along with the current colour challenge over at The Paper Players. I’ve been wanting to play with the fabulous Poppystamps Gilded Plate die since I got it a few weeks ago and I thought that the colour combo would work very nicely. I chose gold as my fourth colour. The sentiment is also by Poppystamps (Jumbled Thank You).

Autumn Tree-heart

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today I’m playing along with this week’s Color Throwdown challenge  which has a lovely autumnal combo of red, purple and orange.

For my take I used very old and very new products by Penny Black. The Tree-heart stamp (40-505) is from 2012 – I love that it hasn’t been retired! It’s always been one of my favourite trees to colour! I paired it with a sentiment from the Autumn is Calling stamp set (30-863) which has only just been released!

Playing with numbers

Hello everyone!

Today I’m playing along with the theme challenge at The Paper Players and the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

When I saw the Paper Players theme, I immediately thought of my WRMK numbered ‘next level’ embossing folder. Remember those next level sets? I loved them… I think WRMK was pretty much the first manufacturer to come out with 3D embossing folders. I couldn’t stop buying them. Luckily I have a bit more self restraint nowadays!

I kept the card very simple and just added a Savvy Stamps die cut sentiment plus a Hero Arts sentiment.

Another double challenge

Hi everyone!

For my second card of the day, I’m playing along with the ‘double’ challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches. This challenge combines colours AND a sketch… and can be quite tricky… but hey, that’s why they are called challenges, isn’t it?

For my card, I used the beautiful Birch Press Eloquent Butterfly layering die set, a couple of Memory Box daisies, together with a sentiment from Memory Box.

Silver Vine Butterfly

Hi everyone!

Today I’m playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.

Lots of layers in this one – I was able to use some of my patterned paper mountain, a new embossing folder (Creative Expressions Art Deco Flowers) and a fabulous die – the Memory Box Vine Butterfly. The sentiment is also by Memory Box.
