Hi there!
It’s time for a new challenge at AAA Cards! The theme for this fortnight is ‘one layer card’ with the optional twist of black and white only. Our sponsor is Stamplorations.
What an interesting challenge! I actually love making one layer cards, but always use colour to add interest to them! I knew I wanted to use one of my older wood mounted stamps for this challenge as some of the designs are intricate and perfect for simple stamping.
After a LOT of playing around, in the end I chose this beautiful Allium Border stamp from Memory Box. I stamped it using versafine onyx ink and then stamped the Cleary Besotted sentiment underneath.
I added a little bit of shimmer to the allium heads using my Nuvo Aquashimmer pen.
My team mates have come up with some beautiful cards which are on the AAA Cards challenge blog. We are also joined by the talented Nancy from Made by Nananas – she has some beautiful cards on her blog!
Thanks for stopping by!
