Happy Friyay everyone!

I just saw the palette for the Winnie & Walter colour challenge and decided to play along at the last minute.

For the base, I used a couple of Winnie & Walter stamp sets and once I’d embossed the sentiments/hearts, I added a soft layer of Chipped Sapphire distress ink.

I then got to work on my focal point – I can’t believe I have never got round to using this sweet heart Winnie & Walter die that I bought a few years ago! It’s so perfect for inlaid die cutting AND a shaker! I created some blended background with regular distress ink and cut them using the die before inlaying the little pieces. I added some sequins and seed beads before adhering the heart to the base with funky foam.
