Golden Peach Trees

Happy Saturday everyone!

It’s time for a new challenge over at AAA Cards. We’re a little earlier this week as we are pairing up with the wonderful team over at Less is More for this challenge. The challenge will run for a fortnight and there will be one joint winner but AAA Cards and Less is More will have their own runners-up.

Anyway, the theme for our joint challenge is ‘one layer with a coloured card base’ and our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers.

For my card, I embossed an older image from Magenta Art Stamps with the fabulous Altenew golden peach embossing powder. I added some shading to the base of the trees using a white pencil and also stamped a Clearly Besotted sentiment with white ink. Finally, to anchor my image, I dry-embossed a square frame.

My teammates have shared some gorgeous CAS cards on the AAA Cards and Less is More blogs. At AAA Cards, we are also joined by Guest Designer Milka from who has some amazing creations on her blog, so please drop by her site!

Thanks for stopping by – I do hope you play along with us!

  1. A beautiful and subtle take on the challenge Lucie. I love that delicate gold embossing against your card-base and adding the dry-embossed frame finishes the look to perfection. Just gorgeous.
